AUTOCAD
Learning AutoCAD is not as hard as you may think. I always say if can draw a line and a circle you can digitally draw anything on computer using a drawing program such as AutoCAD distributed by Autodesk .
I can still remember to this day when I was learning Auto Cad for the first time. The company I was working for had a consultant come in to teach a few people CAD. At that time CAD was fairly new to the Architectural market and other design disciplines. A transition from manually drafting I believe he was not connecting to the audience he was r teaching the group AutoCAD, but keeping his information close to secure his consultancy at the company for as long as he could. To continue the story his teaching method was somewhat to be desired. I found out through my own trials and tribulations he made Auto CAD more difficult to learn than it needed to be. His teaching style was not straight forward and was hard to follow. I believe when teaching anything try to make the process of conveying the information and content as simple as possible in order build the basic foundation to learn the desired program. You need to first capture the interest of a student to make the task/program at hand achievable to master. Today with so many resources on the Internet to learning CADD you are just clicks away to get a general knowledge for the basics to begin a career in (CADD) Computer Aided Design and Drafting.
